Shannon’s Sassy Green Beans & Mushrooms

This is a great recipe shared with me by my sister in law! She's a terrific cook!


1 tablespoon coconut oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 cups green beans

2 cups sliced mushrooms

1/2 medium red onion, sliced thin into half rings

1/4 cup chicken broth

2 teaspoons 'Sassy Citrus' Pepper


Put pan on medium heat; add butter, oil and mushrooms. Cook for about 4 minutes. Add green beans, onion and seasoning. Stir and cook on medium high for about 3 minutes; stirring as needed. Add chicken broth and cover. Cook just until green beans are tender crisp. Serve hot...yum!
